I’ve been making things for those I love!

This month’s challenge in the stashbusting sewalong from Cation Designs was to sew for those you love!

I’m pretty excited to share two projects I managed to get done this month, but sad because I wanted to make a self drafted t-shirt pattern for my awesome boyfriend, but I just didn’t get time!

I did however, manage to make these:

An Apron for one of my crafty friends’ 30th birthday!

Sorry about the crazy photo- I had to snap them quickly before I took it to her house for her Crafternoon Tea.

I really enjoyed making this! I made one for her boyfriend last year for a bit of a joke, and promised to make her one in her “colours”. I’m pretty chuffed with how it has turned out!

I even got to use one of the pretty decorative stitches on my machine!

Unfortunately the stitch is through massive seam bulk, so the stitches are a bit wobbly, but otherwise? I love the way it turned out, and I’m so happy to be giving it to someone who’ll enjoy it!

The other project I’ve been working on is a library book bag for my nephews third birthday. He loves fire engines, so what could I do but give him a book bag with one on it?

Pretty cute huh?

I hope you all had fun sewing for those you love!
